Mother's Day

Happy Mother’s Day!I hope all of you can celebrate with your loved ones - even if only on Zoom! To be completely honest, Mother's Day is bittersweet as I am sure it is for those of you that have lost loved ones. My mom has been gone 26 years and my mother-in-law 9 years.  I miss them both but then I laugh when I remember certain things like when my mom would say,   "If your friend jumped off a cliff, would you?" and "Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about." She was tough, funny, loved to sing and dance, and always listened when we had our moments. My mother-in-law was very much the same and would...

Perseverance

During this COVID-19 crisis, I think many of us may find it difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  It helps to keep everything in perspective, keep  a sense of humor, practice gratitude, and say lots of prayers.  Also, I like reading about others who have persevered through other challenges. Danny Woodhead is a great reminder to not give up or give in. You can see the post about his experience on our Facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/mygamedaycollections/photos/rpp.326542994850137/661491221355311/?type=3&theater Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and if you share ANY post you will be entered to win a gift card!  And you will be helping not only our business but spreading a good reminder to persevere! If you do...

Red Light...Green Light

When I was very young we used to play the game “red light-green light.“  But, did you ever wonder about the yellow light? (Those who know my driving habits would question whether I understand what the yellow light really means...) And, for many of us that means not spending extra dollars especially if our favorite sporting events are cancelled.  So Carly and I are going to hold our spring collection until next year so everyone has time to regroup.  We will still have some items available for the team stores but we will not put them on our website. In the...

New Year's Resolutions or Not?

Friends and Family, Well, we started our list of business and personal goals for the year and soon found that the list was about a page long.  As usual, when planning, EVERYTHING sounds good until we remember that we actually need to DO some of these......dang it!! So, for 2020 our business goals are simple: 1. We want to offer super comfortable game day clothes (can't wait to show you some of the new styles for the spring!)  2. We want to engage more with our customers - so please be on the lookout for anonymous surveys (either by email or Facebook/Instagram), or chances to participate with us via social media posts, or events, or meet-ups. 3. We want to...

On your mark.. get set.. GO!

Dear Family and Friends, As most of you know, I have never aspired to be a sales person. I found it hard to sell when I didn't believe in the product. But now, I can honestly say I believe in our product and business. Not only because the fabric is nice, the styles are great, AND you get to choose your own FREE preferred school logo; BUT because it allows us to give back to the community. On each sale, we donate a percentage back to the school whose logo you choose. So, if you want to give us a try, your first order has free returns (just in case the size or style didn't work for you!), and we...
